Welcome to Elizabeth Does Design!

Most of what you find on this blog will be designed, said, sewn, Pinned, pressed, Instagramed, written... from a little apartment in Salt Lake City, Utah. My husband is a huge supporter of EDD which makes me even more excited to run with this. 


I'm married to an amazing man. (Yes, that picture is me and my man.) We met randomly on the street in downtown SL after passing each other a few times during our lunch breaks. We came to find out that our buildings were right next to each other, thus explaining why we kept seeing each other. We kept eyeing each other and finally, after a month, we started talking. He got my number. We had lunch. Date 1. Date 2. Date 3. Etc. And now we're married. Happily. Blissfully, actually. 


A little more about us: 

• She is currently in the "book business..." a publicist for a publishing company. 
• He works for a large real estate development firm downtown. 
• They walk to work together from their apartment. 
• After work they eat, talk, take walks, read, and she likes to get in as much design time as she can.
• She does freelance work so if there's something you want done, email her. She'll see if she can make you happy with something pretty. Note cards, personalized stationery, blog headers, buttons, logos, etc.
